The Dynamics Systems and Control Division sponsors the following division awards. Each award is given biannually. The awards are presented at the ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition each year in November In even numbered years, the awards given are:

• Henry M. Paynter Outstanding Investigator Award
• Michael J. Rabins Leadership Award
• Charles Stark Draper Innovative Practice Award
• Yasundo Takahashi Education Award
• Outstanding Young Investigator Award
• Rudolf Kalman Best Paper Award
• NYQUIST Lecture
